Do you know someone who has been affected by sexual violence? According to recent research, you likely do. You may find yourself thinking “This could never happen to me or to someone I know.” However, the U.S. Department of Justice's National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) reports that every two minutes a sexual assault is reported.*

So what can be done?

Take Back the Night Chattanooga is an internationally recognized event that is a visible stand against sexual violence, specifically violence against women.

Following the keynote speech, a march through the Historic Fort Wood District will commence to raise awareness about these issues in our community. There will be a candlelight vigil to remember those who have fallen from violence immediately following the march.

Schedule of Events:
6:00pm – Tabling by Campus & Community partners and sponsors
6:35pm- Welcome & Opening Remarks
6:45pm- Keynote Speaker
7:30pm- March through Fort Wood Historic District to take a stand against power-based violence
